Anodizing: Designed Anodizing - Robertville, JHB.
Contact: Derick Espach - 011 472 0797
www.designedanodizing.co.za

Just had heatsinks and a faceplate done there and the quality is superb. Also the lowest minimum charge of all the places I have contacted. (They all have a minimum charge).

PS Tshwane Anodizing, which is mentioned in the old resource thread for Pretoria doesn't exist anymore.

This was precut and drilled to spec or they also cut and drilled?

What are their design capabilities?

No, they only do anodizing.

I used a company in Rosslyn to machine the parts. Contact: James Wolmarans - 082 563 7010

Any aluminium can be anodized. Their minimum charge is R400 and that is what I paid for anodizing a faceplate and two heatsinks.

I doubt that the Rosslyn co can make make cast alu stuff. I was told that they machine their products from alu blanks.

What are you after? Heatsinks? I have a contact for that too!  ;D

 :point:

Gives a wonderful, warm sound. Slightly oily bass, with glowing tops

It will probably be cheaper to machine it from blank alu than do casting. I suggest you phone James Wolmarans and ask his advice.
