I need some thoughts/ideas on this.......
I am thinking of a sealed sub enclosure using a 12 inch driver firing downward with a 8 inch full range driver and a tweeter on an open baffle. The baffle and sub enclosure will be layered MDF, and should be very rigid. Sub walls will be between 1 inch and 2 inches thick, and the enclosure cylindrical. MDF will be covered with epoxy or fiber glass and then painted. Sub will be standalone behind the baffle. Possible drivers:
Woofer: SB Acoustics 12'' SB34NRX75-6
Full Range: Tang Band W8-1808 8''
Tweeter: Bohlender Graebener Neo3-PDRW Planar Tweeter
Sub enclosure internal volume: 2.6 to 5 cub feet
System Qtc between 0.6 and 0.7
Any thoughts on the combination/design???
