I popped into the Himeville Museum today and found several things- a passionate, dedicated curator (Barbara) and several sound machines.
The gramaphone is missing a turntable/platter and barbara would love to get it into a working state. She would also like to get the discs- mainly large bakelite (?) jobbies transfered onto something digital so that they can play the tunes in the museum.
I know it's along shot but if anyone has an idea of how to get all this sorted call Barbara: 033 7021184 or e-mail [email protected]
Funding for "whitey" museums that are all about the Brits is not likely to go very far maar nou ja- just putting it out there.
Also- a very big F$%k you to Photobucket. I have rotated these pics twice.... can't win.
