And my memories involuntarily jump back to Voltage 2000, a mobile disco that frequented Pretoria and Jhb garage-, house-, venue- and event gigs from the mid 80’s to the mid 90’s. (Their setup worked at the time because Es(k)om was able to supply enough electricity for their lights and sound. And their dj’s frequented Limelight and Jacquelines. They really knew their sh!t!!
Imho arguably the best mobile disco during their tenure. I would normally stand in awe, just looking and listening. The sound would usually vibrate your clothes, and they had >800 intelligent disco lights.
I really miss them. I miss those days.
Anyone on the Forum from the Pta area from that time that experienced them?
