I like to make videos of our vacations, mainly 4x4 trips in SA and neighboring countries. I have an editing program on my PC, Serif Movie Plus x6, which work fine for me.

I am on 1080p and are too old to invest in 4K so this will be my limit. Blu Ray for longer videos and AVCHD on short videos on normal 4.7 DVD's is my preferred medium, both
on 1080p24. I have a Panasonic video camera, max 1080p24, a Canon Bridge camera also 1080p24 and a DJI Mavic drone which can go to 4k but I use 1080p50 on it. I am
happy with the result.

My concern is that Blu Ray is dead. I already have enough blank DVD's, 2 players and 2 drives in my PC so it should last many years but what is the alternative? The edited videos
are 100% quality wise when played on USB memory sticks but there is no menu's like on the DVD's where you have a main menu, chapters etc. Is there any way to create menu's
etc. as on the DVD's but on a medium like USB or SD cards?
