Reinterpreting an iconic symbol of Japanese culture. The torii gate is usually seen outside of Shinto shrines as a marker designating an entrance into a sacred space.

This one in Kamiyama, Tokushima. You can plug in your phone and play anything you want.
There are others- and the man behind them isn't Japanese. Bernard Mabrey makes speaker sculptures.- https://benoitmaubrey.com/karaoke-torii/
