I guessed this would be the right place to ask, my father's old Technics SL-BD20 needs a bit of TLC, recently replaced the belt as the previous one disintegrated. But have a problem I need help with, when hitting the stop button or the record reaching it's end. The tone arm doesn't automatically lift up like it used to, end result being the records being scratched.
Is this a fixable problem? If it's an easy fix, where would I be able to find the parts? Or any suggestions on who can give the Technics a look at and restore it to very usable state
