I'm pretty new to the "proper speaker" world so I want to know where I stand on this.
I bought a pair of Klipsch R-41PM powered speakers from Sound XPerience 3 months ago and they've been perfect up until now. I'm running them via USB on my office PC along with a Jamo S801 sub.
They've developed a hiss - quiet but very much noticeable, even in quieter songs.
It doesn't matter what volume they're set at or which input I'm using; it's consistent. Only if I mute the speakers does it change pitch and become much quieter.
Two questions:
Is there anything I can try to get rid of it?
Would this be grounds for a warranty claim?
