Hi all, I have a Sony Blu Ray player which has suddenly gone silent. It outputs the video channels of DVDs, via HDMI, but no sound, neither from CDs. I have reset all settings to factory and checked the audio input settings on my AVR. I've tried the optical link to my AVR as well, no luck.
I double checked my AVR input with another DVD player and it played fine.
Anybody know of a Sony specialist technician in Gauteng, preferably North and West of Joburg? The player itself is now unobtanium and since it also plays SACDs, is worth a lot to me.
