Hi Guys,

I've been increasing my usage of YouTube for live music performances/videos, etc. Currently, the audio travels from my smart tv via optical cable into my AVR - no problem, all good.

Now i want to get the audio signal from my smart tv to a stereo amp. I've tried these two scenarios:

Setup 1: Optical cable from smart tv into my Audiolab DAC into stereo amp
- Noted, with other digital sources the DAC displays 44.1khz. With the TV it reads 48.0khz;
- The DSTV audio plays through the stereo amp - no problem
- When scrolling through YouTube, and selecting, etc. the beep-tone is audible through the stereo
- As soon as i select a YouTube video (any video) the audio does not play on the stereo

Setup 2: Optical cable from TV into the AVR > zone 2 line out into stereo amp
- As above, the youtube navigation tones plays on the stereo amp
- When a video is selected the audio track does not come through.

What am i doing wrong? Can somebody please assist me with solving this important real world dilemma  ;)
