Room Building Tips

I will be building in the coming year and busy with plans now, so there is still time to change things

I have manage to pursued my wife to have an extended study area so I can have a home for my stereo

Is there anything I need to specify other than the below

- dedicated power circuit, 2 double plugs, for stereo
- Room must be rectangle, solid wall behind stereo
- Network point for future squeezebox

Any other suggestions or if someone can refer me to an existing thread
