Removing speaker grills

Hi Guys,

Need some advise on the correct way to remove speakers grills. My ageing domestic or my 12yr old have splilled something over the speaker and what ever it was  has seeped thru the grill. 

I tried fingering the grills loose but this isn?t going to happen.  Speakers are PSB T1?S

Im concerned that a screwdriver would damage /warp/ scratch the grills?
