Hello everyone.

Would like some advice here please, so will jump right to it.

Mom lives in a Sectional Title complex where there is adequate parking for all, and only 8 units have carports for which they are additionally levied monthly.

- A carport owner say's his carport is for sale, so i jump and transfer the required amount via EFT into the given account.
- The next day he brings me a receipt book invoice for the agreed amount.

Who is responsible for arranging the transfer / deed of sale?

The carport was paid for in January last year and up to now, the initial empty promises have now become unanswered a long time ago.

Now the plot thickens:

- Levies, it turns out have not been paid in a very long time. His mother is retired & bed-ridden (the actual owner) and he is unemployed artist doing ad-hoc private work.
- Who is responsible for arranging the Title Deed transfer into my Mother's name, and how do we best go about this best?
