Hi guys
Murphy's Law that I'm one of those stating that my receiver is bulletproof and now I've picked up something odd.

I've had my 705 from new (around 5yrs old) and its only ever run hot at higher volumes for extended periods. I usually run a fan to cool the avr and after a few minutes, the fans turn off.

Over the past few days the fans are starting to run after about two hours of running at low volumes.

For those who know their Onkyo receivers, have I perhaps adjusted a setting? I've got the speakers set on the receiver to 6ohms, I can never quite remember if that's the right setting or not? I'm running Polk speakers which I'm sure are 8ohm but the receiver only have 4 or 6ohm as an option.

Any suggestions or advice?
Cheers
