This cdp is now starting to act up. Would play nicely but eventually it would just have no output, with all other indications normal. Cd spins, counter seconds runs normal, just nothing on the coax output. Have not tested rca?s yet. If it plays normal and you give it a very light nudge or bump it skips as well. Normal, I know, but seems to be overly sensitive to movement.
First thought is laser but is the symptoms correct? Also a funny with the tray. Empty it would stick when opening, but with cd in it opens and closes no problem. Probably just needs a bit of lube. But I suspect this is unrelated.
I am going to open it up in any case but thought someone here has experienced similar before. Want to try prevent a wild goose chase.
