Hi all

I've been trying to configure FreeNAS on a memory stick for my Microserver.  I've already done this under Virtualbox on my laptop, so I thought it would be fairly simple.

My steps:
I load FreeNAS 0.7 Live image on a memory stick.
Boot the Microserver from the memory stick.
Insert second memory stick to install to (tried FAT32, NTFS formatting)
Select option 9 from the FreeNAS menu to install embedded version
Receive "Failed to detect any CDROM."

I've searched the ROM menu to try and disable the CD drive there, but can't find it.  The Microserver is as it came out of the box yesterday, no added hard drives or optical drives.

I see that in the FreeNAS startup  sequence before boot, the message "BIOS CD is cd0" comes up. Not sure if this has anything to do with it.

Any suggestions?
