I would like to find out if it's worth getting the HDMI board on my Marantz AVR fixed. I only use it for audio from my PC. If it's not worth fixing would going the dedicated Sound Card option be better? As the SR8001 does have 7.1 Analogue inputs
The HDMI light on it is a constant blue, but it just shows "No Data" on the screen of the AVR. Optical works fine luckily, but for 5.1 it's very limited.
And if there is any suggestions on where to send the Marantz in for repairs.
