I saw the above audio formats on a blu-ray dvd. Can someone please explain in plain English:
a. I thought PCM is stereo, so what is Linear PCM 5.1 then?
b. I have also seen "uncompressed" PCM 5.1 or was it 2.1 - And this means?
c. Somewhere on the forum I read that some folks prefer PCM (above formats) to Dolby Digital 5.1. This being digital, how can PCM be better than Dolby Digital?
