A year ago I bought the LG 65 inch I think 65UN7000 series UHD tv. I am very happy with this TV, so this year when I needed to replace a 15 year old power surge written off plasma tv, I thought I would go the same route. I assumed getting the same series, but being the newer model (55UN7100), the tv would at least be as good, or maybe even better in terms of display quality or features. But alas, I can for the life of me not get the image quality to a point where it gets close to the 65 inch 7000 series.
I ordered the latest tech HDMI cable from Audico to test that, which made a difference but not much. I then tested between different sources (DSTV and BluRay), but again couldn't really find that the one was better than the other.
The image looks a bit blurry to me, and as if it has this thin layer of white "fog" across it. Obviously difficult to explain...
Any ideas?
