Hi all
Need some advice and not sure if posted to the right subforum.
I have got this TV -
And the following receiver (it's not 4k) - all I want is to push audio through the receiver but unable to figure out how to do it.
Receiver is the Onkyo TX SR309.
With my previous TV which wasn't 4k I used to the the receiver as the point where all hdmi devices were input.
I now have my devices (Nvidia shield, decoder) plugged directly into hdmi on the TV as the output in terms of video quality is alot better.
Just can't for the life of me get the audio to be sent from the TV (where all hdmi are plugged in) to the receiver itself. I've tried using the ARC output on the TV plugged into an input on the receiver but that doesn't seem to carry audio.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
