Greetings to all fellow Audio lovers
So for the last couple of years, my KEF IQ5's have been my pride and joy since i bought them new.
I have been pondering a newer model now for some time, and fin ally found a great price on a newer model.
My question to you is:
Has anybody had any listening experience to the Q150 or Q350? Any thoughts? From many reviews on the net, a lot of people rate the Q150 as a better buy, even with the smaller driver in the Q150.
Would i be downgrading in terms of "size in sound" going from an IQ5 floor stander, to a Q150 or Q350 Bookshelf?
The IQ5's have always been a tad low in the bass department (unless bi amped to a decent amp which i only did once, and couldn't believe i had been missing out on so much bass from them for so long) i am curious if i would get the same, or possibly more bass from the newer models, even though they are bookshelves.
Has anybody perhaps had experience listening to the older iq series, compared to a new Q series?
