Ok, cricket fans have about 15 odd minutes before the Protea's take the field facing England in their T20 opener. Having watched most of the recent games against Eng & Aus and noticing the ongoing experiments in getting the Protea squad sorted out (and not knowing who- and in what order they will be playing today), here are my thoughts on the composition of the team:

Opening batsmen should be Amla & De Kock.
Followed by either De Villiers or Du Plessis depending on the match situation; if one of the openers fall in the first 6 to 8 overs (likely) then first send in Du Plessis, but if both openers survive the first 8 to 10 overs, De Villiers should go in at 3 (i.e. De Villiers should ideally be given the opportunity to face at least 10 overs to maximise his devastating abilities).
Fifth batsman should be David Miller
All rounders should be Duminy & Morris
Specialist bowlers should be Tahir, Rabada & Steyn

That totals 10, leaving one space open. Who is the ideal player to fill that spot..?

PS. I am thinking we will need an extra bowler, so Abbott or Phangiso. The last-mentioned is a spinner more suitable for the Indian pitches, but he has not bowled for some time and there are all sorts of issues surrounding him and his bowling action.
