How to sell an item to an overseas buyer & advice about crates

I have someone interested in the B&W801D's I have up for sale. He is in Romania.

How can I get the funds transferred to me without paying ridiculous exchange fees?

Also I will need to build wooden crates for the speakers. What guidelines should I follow. I understand that the wooden crates need to be certified free of termite/beetle/insect infestation?
