Hi guys
I've always known that I love to hoard hi-fi equipment. Often stating sentimental reasons for not getting rid of items, or acquiring them again. To this end, I now have items, that I never use, but just can't get rid of! I often think it borders on becoming a psychological issue. My SO definately thinks so. How did you get to the point where you just got rid of it all? Proof (current equipment list):
Amplifiers:
Primare I30
Valve Audio Exclame 100
Quad II monoblocks
CD players:
Cambridge Audio CD640
Primare CD31
Speakers:
Quad ESL57
Spendor SA1
Full Quad 21L series HT
KEF Coda 7
Other:
Cambridge Audio 640R
Rega P2
Primare SPA22
Cambridge Audio 640P
Cambridge Audio DVD89
Quad QC24
Playstations 2 and 3
Most of these are just in boxes, sitting there. That excludes all the things I've given to friends etc. I've always said I have my white wine and red wine systems. But maybe I just don't need all this "crap". And yet, when I fire up the ESLs, I know why I searched for the perfect pair for 3 years...
My question is probably...where does one draw the line. Afterall - the cost of these can pay a fair way for my babba's future. What on that list would you get rid of?
