Hi Forum Members,
I need some help/advice. A week ago we had a lightning strike. Although the strike was not on the house itself it was enough to cause damage to a lot of expensive kit. Amongst others my NAD T777 has lost all (I think) of the HDMI ports. Three questions:
1. Is it repairable and worth repairing, and if so, by whom?
2. What other damage should I look for, audio seems fine on the other inputs but it is difficult to judge without HDMI.
3. What can I do to protect myself in future. My entire audio system is behind a fairly beefy APC UPS, I thought I had done enough.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.
