So after buying the " Franken-Linn" off Gert, ex Steve, and it gathering dust for a while, I thought I'd pimp it a bit. I'm not going OEM, and the improvements I'm doing is not to get sounding better than the Original stuff, but just the best with what it is 
Had a lid made ( Being a cheap skate is not the Only reason, but my arm I made will not fit under a standard hood, so this one is 20 mm higher.) Busy milling covers for the corners to hide the joins.
The obligatory Valhalla
The plinth is not the original, nor made for it, so i found some nice wood to make one closer to the original
