Read on another post (Top TV) regards the TV "upscaling" the broadcasted image...do the TV's (in my case samsung PS50B550 plasma) actually upscale the image....?
I have the issue where with std DSTV broadcast, you would see "halo's" around an image of a bright light/sun/moon...is the plasma not doing its job or is it a case of the DSTV image is of too low resolution for the TV's upscaler to actally make a diffrence to the picture on a 50" screen?
BTW. Do the HDSTV HD Decoders actually upscale the images/broadcasts to HD (liek the blu-rays player does with DVD's)?
