Connecting a sub to a integrated amp?

Hi guys

I need some advice on how to connect a sub to my nad 3225. I have an active sub. With a left and right input and output. Can I take out the bridge pieces out at the back of the amp and run RCA from pre amp to the sub in and the from sub out back to the main in on the amp? Will this work? I am quite new to this, so please excuse me if I ask stupid questions.
