Black speaker fabric?

Hi, the speaker fabric on my Reference 4 speakers have faded over 30 years. I live in OZ now and went into Jaycar and Spotlight to look for more. They have the wrong type. A tight stretching weave for clothing is what they have. The fabric I have is not as stretchy yet you can see through the weave. Does anyone know what type of fabric this was? Thank you
