A friend in Calvinia in the Northern Cape has one of these he bought in Upington a few years back from a supplier who has since closed
A few weeks back, it gradually slowed down and stopped after a few hundred metres. I told him it is probably the batteries and judging from the size of the battery container, it looks like 12 volt 12 a/h or 18 a/h batteries. The charger states 24 volts at 2 amps
The local agent in Cape Town tells him Calvinia is too out the way for deliveries. He has no idea about what capacity battery it uses. I phoned the local agent, but they pretend not to know, or won't divulge the size, saying they require the whole scooter
