Buddy of mine is looking for 10 metres of communications cable for a sprinkler system controller. Most places he's tried in CT can only sell him 100 metre rolls. He needs 10 core (5pair) cable. (I would think that 2 lengths of solid CAT5 cable would give him 8 pairs which should be sufficient, but not sure if this is suitable).. any places he could try in CT please and what is the recommended cable for this? (pinging @chrisc as I feel he may know)
