So this week i had widely varying experiences in buying from forum members. One sent me loads of photos highlighting "flaws" that were minor. The speaker I received way far exceeded my expectations. The other seller did not highlight the flaws and the photos were in such a mamner that it hid many of the flaws. I was very dissapointed - unexpected chips, discovered pressed in tweeter yesterday. I would probably have bought the speakers anyway if I had known of the issues - and then wouldnt have felt seriously dissapointed.

So my advice (mostly to myself) is to insist on detailed photos of every angle when buying from someone you havent dealt before. Just because your purchases exceeded your expectations from most guys on the forum doesnt mean you shouldnt be dilligent with others.

Standards differ widely and some items that are "perfect" to some are not good enough for others.
