Any opinions on infinite baffle based sound ?
Not sure if sealed and infinite is necessarily the same thing.. so entertain me..
I seem to like these or some form of them at least ,,, I recall the Alison 9 was an awesome sounding speaker and then Daan jakobs ref with a sealed based unit and OB on top(so not fully infinite design) but like what the sealed does to the bass tunes...
So anyone heard a good infinite full range speaker ? And what is your opinion ? Tease n why I?m asking cause I?m thinking of building a box for the 8? Goodman?s fullranger ..just to see what it.m sounds like... they(Goodman?s recommend a minimum of 3cubic feet volume ( which I guess is about a 20 litre) of very sturdy well brazed construction.
I need to see how much that will cost even as experiment , but would like to hear opinions first.
