I have always found it fascinating that the members of this forum share so many other interests and hobbies besides audio.
The time has come to get a pair of multi or vari-focul glasses and I have a feeling that I am not the only one here that demands the best performance from prescription spectacles.
In my experience with sunglasses, I am only happy with those with real glass lenses. Plastic lenses make everything appear artificial and well 'plastic'.
Are there any proper opticians in Cape Town that still make glass glasses?
All of the usual mall-based franchises that I have visited so far, don't seem too clued-up on the subject.
