Repairs on speakers.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to know if it is worth repairing speakers? Will the quality of sound still be the same? I have a Kef centre speaker that needs a cone replacement and a pair of JBL's that is distorting when pushed slightly. I think the previous owner pushed it way over its limit. I am new to this forum and would appreciate your comments. Thanks Roger
