Greetings All Vinylheads
I am at a crossroads between continuing upgrading the digital front end of my system or moving to analog and need advice as I know absolutely nothing about turntables, cartridges, phonostages, vinyl supply, pressings etc. and would be starting with absolutely no vinyl music collection.
I have avoided moving from digital to vinyl like the plague because of fear that if the bug bites, I will have to sell off the wife and kids to slavery to funf this :'(. I also have a tendency to be a little obsessive and I fear that all the options available (cartridges, arms, mats etc) and choices to be made may just result in divorce.
The first question is should I even be contemplating vinyl and if so how do I go about getting started? Very broad question I know, but any pointers will be welcome.
