Xperia U, what to do?

So, more than a year ago, I picked up a Sony Xperia U ST25i at Grand West :dop: Not being sure what to do with it, and being the good samaritan that I am, I handed it in to the lost and found thingy me bob. After about a month or so, I got a call saying I had to come and collect the phone as the owner did not collect (must have been a hectic night for him/her) Sim was out of the phone after collecting it, infact, a total factory reset was done on it (wonder how that happened). Anyway, I moved quite a few times since then and packed it into a box with some other stuff, which surfaced about a week ago while scratching through some stuff. Still looks brand new.

Now the question is this, wat maak n mense nou met die ding? Use it, flog it, crush it of wat? I tried punching in the IMEI no via Google to check if I could somehow locae the owner, but nothing.

Please advise.
