Just acquired an old Pioneer SA 400 with following: 3 x ECC83 (12AX7) 4 x ECL82 (6BM8)
This is my first foray into tube territory (after getting into vintage solid state recently)
I plan to recap the amp completely in coming weeks and figured a good place to start would be testing the valves that came in the unit before powering up after recap.
If anyone in CT has the gear pls let me know!
Also on the subject if anyone can suggest replacements for Rectifier diodes: SD1A and SE0501.
