Hi knowledgable friends.
As the topics suggests.
My kids always ask me to play their music.
But if is stored on some IPhone app that I cannot get the music out from to out on my PC.
So I was checking out this adapter plug today that I have laying around and it is a earphone socket to 2 x RCA adapter plug and I just wanted to see.
Well if plugs into the a iPhone's earphone socket and then I place my RCA going to the gain control module of the valve power amps on it and it works.
What worries me is that if might hurt the amps ?
So the question is will it ?
Obviously the kids don't care much about sound quality as almost anything is better then Iphone speakers .
All I can say is that it is a lot softer then any of the normal sources , like squeezebox and Phono which I use.
So I have to turn the IPhone volume full blast and the hifi amps to almost 12 o'clock (assuming 6o'clock) is zero and normally I don't even do 9'O Clock ( assuming again 6 O Clock is zero).
Tx for any help.
