Really sad news about Mr Valve

I was informed this morning that I have lost a friend of many years, we met 15 or 16  odd years ago when as a young man I was after some new tubes for my just acquired Radford STA15 III. We became friends and have met many new friends through eachother. This friend, Wim Bouwman, many of you know him as Mr Valve, was shot and killed last night on his driveway in what appears to be a hi jack attempt. I have no further details but I am sure many here on this forum, lost a friend last night too.

His person and vast knowledge of tubes and their intricacies, funny stories and anecdotes will be missed.

A sad day, full of questions.....
