So looks like I killed my 1st part. I just quickly soldered a lead onto the visaton tweeter I got for my flutes and found it did not tweet anymore when powered on.
Upon closer inspection this is what I found.
See the wire bits sticking out on the other side of the speaker connector? (sorry for bad phone pics) I only used a 30w soldering iron and really did not have it on the connector for very long so surprised that it did this.
I have already ordered a replacement from pqsound but was just curious of there's anything I can do with this one or should I just toss it?
