Hi guys
I need some advice urgently...There is a double brick wall that separates my Home theater room from the lounge. The wife wants a fireplace on the lounge facing side of this wall.
By doing so the fireplace fits into the double brick wall dropping the thickness of 225mm(double brick wall) to 50mm(with the fireplace in the wall).
I have spent alot of effort in trying to keep the sound in the room. Will the fireplace undermine the entire rooms entrapment of the sound or will it not make much of a difference with the fireplace fitted?
Advice please?
