Hi All.
Not sure if this is the right sub forum, but here goes.
I have for years had a basic 5.1 surround sound system consisting of items bought as money allowed.
The star of the setup has always been my dependable Yamaha RXV595.
Lately I noticed that when watching a movie, via pc on Netflix, there are random rumble sounds coming from the right front channel.
Disconnecting the laptop audio cable makes no difference, which makes me think it is coming from the amp.
Strangely, turning the volume control up or down at that point will sometimes cause the amp to turn off?
I appreciate feedback from anyone who can guide me in the right direction in this regard.
I stay in the Western Cape, and do not know (if the amp turns out to need repair) who tovtrustcwith this work, without first having a spare kidney on hand.
