If I can get my hands on a FiiO, I would without blinking. Timba. I recently got a Bluesound Node2i, mainly because 90% of the time I will be streaming Tidal through it. I will recommend it very much. I just tested the sound quality using the song Memories - The Temptations (I know, don't laugh - I truly like the song). On Tidal it is 192Khz/24bit. On Spotify - it is what it is....... The difference is perceptible. On other songs (like Fourplay Snowbound - which is also 192khz/24bit) the difference is there but really hard to hear). But ease of use, trouble-free operation and you can send digital out if you have another DAC. It's good. But I have also been looking at Topping D90 for my other room. If you want to play local DSD files and other high res local local files, then perhaps other DACs will be best suited then these. These two are in my radar specifically for MQA playback (I don't have high res local files at all).
