Hi All,

I'm new to the forum and looking for some guidance/advice.

I'm currently restoring my vintage pioneer system which includes a pair of Pioneer CS-44 bookshelf speakers from the late '60s

One of the tweeters has seen better days and needs reconditioning. The paper cone has been chewed by moths, the dust cap has been pressed in and the sound quality has lost its crispness.

Is it worth reconditioning or should it be replaced?

And if it can be reconditioned, is there anyone in Durban that could do so?

Thanks
R
