So here goes nothing, I would like to start a small stereo system. Have been looking around at the cost of pre-amplifiers (new and second hand) and its just too much. (Don't really have a budget yet, thinking this through first).
What are the advantages (if any) and disadvantages of using an integrated amp as a pre? ( In theory, its all there right?, Remote, Pre out, sub out...)
I have decided to go pre/power cause sooner or later I will end up wanting to upgrade :walled: and I would think its easier. (Why? I don't know? Just swap out power amplifiers I guess)
