My setup is Mac, Roon > CAT6 Ethernet > Rpi Roon Endpoint. Endpoint is in a separate room ?10m stretch of cable.
I got a copy of Dirac. So now I have the Dirac Roon conundrum - I need to go Roon > Dirac > Rpi > Dad
Options are: USB Cable Extender, USB CAT Extenders (Seems to be limited to USB 1.1), USB Optical Cable, or ?
I found USBIP as a potential solve, there is no cam client, but their are paid solves in VirtualHere, Flexihub, etc.
Just wondering if anyone has tried the USBIP route, or other recommendations?
