Hi, I am wondering if changing from a usb only dac ie the HRT MUSIC STREAMER 11 to a Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus Digital to Analogue Converter & Preamp would be a good SONIC upgrade?
I currently have the HRT and find it to be very good although perhaps lacking in spaciosness and 3 dimensional presentation in the soundstage - I am using a laptop with Jriver software listenng to mostly FLAC files.
Any opinions or advice would be appreciated.
