Ok so i know this edges on the rim of insanity but hey why not. So everything in the room is Def tech and aimed at a good balance of HT and stereo also as we all know this is not easy to do in the same room. I have got this down to a good balance.
On Friday i took the plunge and got the flagship BP9080 and man are they insane speakers. Just bonkers what these can do. So the current setup i can demo any of the BP range on stereo or i can combine them all in one insane cinema.
Fronts BP9080
Center CS9060
Sides BP9060
Rears BP9040
Front atmos A90
Rear atmos A90
Middle atmos 8? Def tech ceilings
Processing and amplification Denon 8500 flagship 13ch
So we got this all hooked up on Friday and i did some small calibrations. Still need to tidy up but we could do some testing. Firstly this system is so powerful you can break the house apart if need be, but this is not our goal. We want to be on that edge where it all comes together nicely.
So yesterday i tested Battle ship and Everest on 4k blu-ray and Atmos for Everest and Dts-X for Battle ship. The only way i can describe this is a ride where you strap yourself in and hold on for dear life. Its bonkers, the bass will move you to places you almost want to tuck and roll. The highs are so on point and the details does not drop off at all. Best of all and it makes one actually shake your head, this system is set so low with bass -12 on all sections and only half on the internal amps.
