Ubiquiti Edgerouter and Unifi Access Point setup

I got the Edgerouter X and a Unifi AP to use at home as the WiFi coverage is poor.

Unfortunately I am not the most network setup skilled so need some assistance in setting this up.

Anyone here have any experience setting up Ubiquiti networks. This is just a simple router/switch and a single AP.
